Welcome to a Stampin'Up! Passover blog hop.
A few of us Jewish SU! demonstrators got together
to share with you our creative ideas for Passover
that is around the corner. Did you allready get the matza?
Thinking od the menu? And how about decorating
your table? Here are some of my ideas.
I hope you have arived here from Mirjam's Blog
and seen her wonderful projects. Hope you left her some love.
I have some table decoration and cards for you.
The moment I saw this beautiful Floral Boutique design
paper, I knew i had to have it for Jewish cards. So I got the
whole set of matching dies and stamps, inks and cardstock.
Let's start with the floral table decoration.
I found on internet how to fold these flowers HERE.
And they are perfect for my table. I used square pieces of paper
of 4 x 4 inch to fold the flower.
After I finished the flower and glued the stick in the
middle. On to of the stick I added a sticky pearl
from the basic pearl jewels.
Now for the paper bag. Below You find the
folding template. You can do this with any size of paper,
that will fit around your jar (I jused an empty baby
food jar). For my paper bag I used an A4 size piece
of paper. Before folding it, I crupled it first for a used look.
Click on the template to see a larger version.
If you have done one, it gets easier. Try it with a piece
of copy paper first.
Now for the label. As Stampin'Up! has no Jewish words,
I typed those with my computer and used this fun
free font called Bromello. For the word happy
I used the Tin of Cards word stamps to match
the printed sentiment. The blue stamp you see
behind the words id from the Beautiful You stamp set.
Finishing of the card with more basic pearls.
Here you see my page with all the words I printed.
I left huge gaps, so I could add the
stamped words and easy to cut or punch out.
And now the cards:
For card #1 I used
Floral Bouquet designer paper
Detailed Floral Thinlits Dies
Star of David from Every Occasion stamp set
sentiment from Beautiful You stamp set
Basic sticky pearls
Night of Navy inkpad and cardstock
Card #2
same Floral Bouquet designer paper
Sentiment from Beautiful You
Petite petals punch
Glitter paper from SAB
Solid Baker's twine Night of Navy
Night of Navy inkpad and cardstock
Mask that was available in the winter catalogue
Another card and pyramid name cards.
I always have fun name cards on my table and this year
I thought of doing these cute pyramids. You can use the
Pyramid Pals Thinlits, but if you don't have those
you can use the template you see below. Maybe I will add
something fun inside for the kids around the table.
After cutting and folding the pyramid, I added the smallest
doily of the Metallic Foil Doilies. I love silver and blue
combo (but there is gold too!). On top of the doily there
is a 1 inch glitter circle from the paper that you could earn in the
SAB period. Hope they come available in the new catalogue.
Now there is gold and silver still available here.
On top I used the banner from Number of Years
and the Star of David from Every Occasion stamp set
and a little basic pearl in the middle of the star.
And finally this card where the seder plate was the
inspiration for my card. I embossed the white background
with the softly falling embossing folder.
I used one of the larger metallic foil doilies and
cut it ino four to use for the corner decoration.
In the heart of the card I did the same with the
sentiment as on the paper bag. Around the middle sentiment
you see 6 1 inch punched out glitter paper circles.
Hope my blogpost gave you some inspiration.
