Beautiful You

Al een tijdje niets op mijn blog gezet, maar wel gestempeld hoor!

Heb deze nieuwe set: Beautiful You, 2 doosjes met geweldige stempels.

Hier is mijn eerste kaart, maar er komen er nog veel meer.

Moet er wel even bijzeggen, dat de tekst van een oude set

komt (Font of You), maar hij paste er zo leuk bij.

De dame is gekleurd met stift en de streep is een stukje

washi tape.

For some time I haven't posted here, but I did stamp!

I have this wonderful new set called: Beautiful You.

It comes in 2 boxes of great stamps.

I must confess that the sentiment is out of an old

set (Font of You)), but it fitted so nicely with the image.

The image is colored with markers and the line

is a piece of washi tape.

Geld envelop/ Gift card

Nog even snel een geld envelopje maken.

Ik vond het idee online by Meg Loven en

op haar blog staat een duidelijke instruktie.

Just a quick and easy money envelope.

I found this idea online on Meg Loven's blog.

She has great instructions for you HERE.

Je kunt hiervoor lekker je restjes gebruiken.

Verder een stukje kaart papier,een envelop

en  als stempelset heb ik Mingle All the Way gebruikt.

It is great to use someleft over scraps for this.

Also you need some cardstock and I used

the stamp set Mingle All the Way.

De envelop wordt gesloten door een reep papier.

The envelop is closed with a strip of paper.

Langs de bovenkant van de envelop heb ik 

een strip washi tape geplakt van de set watercolor wonder.

Along the border of the top of the envelope

I taped  strip of washi tape from the set watercolor wonder.

De tekst is gestempeld met Pacific Point inkt.

Op de sneeuwvlokjes hebik nog wat glittersteentjes geplakt.

The sentiment is stamped with Pasific Point inkpad.

To make the snowflakes even sparkle more, I added

some tiny rhinestones.

Binnen in is door middelvan een dubbelgevouwen

envelop vakjes gemaakt om je geld in the stoppen.

Inside the compartments are made by a double folded

envelope to add your money gift. You find the instructions

on Magen Loven's blog.

Naast het geld kan je er ook nog een klein tagje bij doen

met een wens of eigen geschreven tekst.

You can also add a little tag with the money. You can stamp

a sentiment or write your own text.

Deze enveloppen zijn echt eenvoudig en als je weet hoe

het moet heb je het in een kwartiertje af.

These money envelopes are realeasy. When you know

how it takes about 15 minutes to make.

Washi tape kaart/ Washi tape card

Wat is washi tape toch een leuk spul!

Vandaag heb ik er een achtergrondje mee gemaakt.

Gewoon de tape over de hele breedte plakken.

Je vindt de washi tape Watercolor Wonder op p. 190

I love my washi tape and today I used it for my card.

Just tape it down all the width of your card.

The washi tape is called Watercolor Wonder 

and you find it on p. 190.

Natuurlijk netjes de restjes naar de achterkant geplakt,

dat ziet er mooier uit dan te knippen. Daarna op een vel

whisper white geplakt, dat net ietsje groter is. Vervolgens

mijn kerstboom punch gebruikt om een boom uit te ponsen.

Of course I folded the left over bits towards the back. I like this

better then to cut the tape of. Then I took a piece of whisper

White, that was just a little larger and glued them togeter. 

With the tree punch, I punched out a tree.

Op een apart stukje old olive papier (dit is zo lekker om restjes

 te kunnen gebruiken!) heb ik met chocolate chip de boom

uit de set Festivalof Trees (p.24) gestempeld om achter de 

opening te gebruiken.

On a piece of left over old olive scrappaper I stamped 

a tree from Festival of Trees (p. 24) with chocolate chip ink,

 to use behind the opening of the punched tree.

Je dacht toch niet dat ik de uitgeponste boom weg zou gooien. 

Die staat prachtig aan de binnenkant van de kaart.

You did not think I would throw away the punched out tree.

It looks great on the inside of the card.
